On September 27, the thematic exhibition “Forging Ahead in the New Era” had its grand opening at the Beijing Exhibition Centre, and 3TREES’s “Excellent Helmet” is among the exhibits on display.

Following the theme of “Forging Ahead in the New Era”, the exhibition is focused on presenting the great achievements and transformation in the cause of the Party and the country in the past ten years of the new era. The exhibition area is divided into six sections, i.e. the preface hall, central comprehensive exhibition area, local exhibition area, outlook exhibition area, outdoor exhibition area and interactive exhibition area. Covering a total area of over 30,000 square meters, the exhibition features more than 6,000 items including pictures, objects and models, which give the exhibition rich perspectives and connotations. As an important achievement of the Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games, 3TREES’s “Excellent Helmet” is a major bright spot of the exhibition.

In addition to providing green high-tech products and painting guidance for more than 10 major projects of the Winter Olympics, such as “Snow Ruyi”, 3TREES has also contributed its wisdom to promote the Chinese culture and ice and snow culture. The “Excellent Helmet” displayed at the exhibition is a classic combination of the beauty of traditional Chinese culture and the wonder of Chinese coating technology.

The “Excellent Helmet” series is a special gift prepared by 3TREES for the Chinese short track speed skating national team in the Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games. During the preparation for the Winter Olympics, 3TREES brought together talented designers from all walks of life and designed seven sets of exclusive helmet patterns for the Chinese national team, sprayed with 3TREES’s special green coating material: water-based two-component polyurethane industrial coating. The helmet pattern is inspired by Chinese traditional culture such as “Monkey King”, “Youlong (Dancing Dragon) ”, “Feitian (Flying Goddess)”, “Chitu (Divine Horse)”, “Jueying (Shadow Horse)”, and “Zhurong (God of Fire)”, all of which symbolize good luck. They accompanied Chinese short track speed skaters such as Wu Dajing, the celebrity endorser of 3TREES, in winning gold and silver medals in the competition. The special 3TREES industrial coatings applied to the helmets are green and environment-friendly, with low VOC, excellent color performance, bright and smooth texture, and the protection of special surface additives that helped bring out the best of the athletes on the racing track. After their launch, these Chinese-style helmets soon became an internet phenomena and won the praise of major mainstream media.
